Welcome Home
We are excited to be worshiping together again.
Worship services will begin at 11:00 Sunday morning, May 17th.
The doors will open at 10:30 and you are invited to come at this time. This will be a time in which you can greet your brothers and sisters in the sanctuary while practicing social distancing, and shout across the building if necessary to express your joy in seeing one another.
Please be conscious of keeping everyone safe by following these guidelines:
1. Entrance and Exits:
a. Enter and exit through the designated entry and exit doors:
b. Pass through the foyer and into the sanctuary upon arrival and departure to avoid congregating in traffic areas.
2. Greeting your brothers and sisters:
a. During this time we advise you to greet each other with a big smile and wave instead of our customary hand shake or hug.
3. Use “open doors:”
a. Doors that are closed are to remain closed to help in maintaining social distancing and assist in cleaning and sanitizing the facility.
4. Covid-19 Symptoms:
a. Please be aware of the virus symptoms and if you are symptomatic it is important to protect yourself and others by participating in the online services.
5. Restrooms facilities:
a. Restrooms will be available for emergency use only.
b. The service will be approximately 1 hour and we ask that you plan accordingly.
c. Children and teens need to be aware of this as there will be no traffic in and out during the service.
6. In the sanctuary:
a. We will have one service in the sanctuary, with no classes or childcare.
b. Sit in the designated rows – leaving one vacant pew between the rows being used.
c. Sit in family units with at least 6 feet between families.
d. “Precautionary Face Masks” are encouraged during times of moving around the sanctuary and when the distance of 6 feet is difficult to maintain.
e. We do encourage open worship, involvement, and participation in the service. We are a “Pentecostal Church with Pentecostal Worship”.
7. Dismissing in an orderly fashion:
a. We will start with the center sections and then the outer sections in an effort to let people move through congested areas with ease.
b. We know that you will enjoy fellowshipping with each other and we encourage this on the parking lot as well, while practicing 6 feet distancing.
8. Exposure and health conditions:
a. We ask that everyone be conscious of their own exposure and health conditions. Tennessee Governor Lee has encouraged church members over the age of 65 and those who may be immunocompromised to continue to participate in services thru alternative means such as are provided online and through recordings.
9. Online video and recording:
a. In an effort to provide online services for those unable to attend, please be aware that there will be cameras in use and you or a family member may be visible online.
Thank you to everyone for your help in keeping your fellow members and yourself safe. These are different and difficult times that we are in, but it is great to be able to worship together again. Come ready to worship, participate, and have a wonderful time together in Church.
Psa. 122:1
I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
